PandHEMOT ™ is a psychoeducational app developed by the HEMOT® - Helmet for Emotions Center for Psychology Research, of the Department of Human Sciences of the University of Verona (project funded by the Ministry of University and Research, Call FISR 2020 COVID; illustrations by Elisa Ferrari; Italian patent n.102019000008295).PandHEMOT ™ has 10 levels that aim to increase in a playful way the knowledge of children and adolescents on pandemics and on the safety measures to be adopted to limit infections, on emotions and on the strategies to manage them during and after a pandemic. The first 9 levels contain a brief description of the knowledge to be enhanced and a series of sentences accompanied by images to which to provide an answer chosen between two alternatives. Written texts are read from a vocal support so the app is also suitable for those with reading difficulties.
